In 2025, “affordability” became the top concern nationally and locally, where the shortage of affordable homes left thousands of our neighbors facing housing insecurity as homelessness reached new heights.
At the same time, sudden funding cuts across the sector added uncertainty for countless individuals and families, many of whom depend on organizations like VOA-GNY.
