
Jeffrey Ginsburg, president and CEO of Volunteers of America-Greater New York, and Baaba Halm, senior vice president of programs at Enterprise Community Partners, co-authored an op-ed on the key role nonprofits play in shaping solutions to addressing affordable housing ahead of Election Day.

Ginsburg and Halm call for non-profits to be actively involved in policy discussions in order to address the housing crisis.
“If leaders want nonprofits to keep stepping up, they need to stop treating us as an afterthought,” they write. “That means stable funding and a seat at the table when policy is being shaped, not just when it’s time to implement it.”
