City & State: Eric Lee Featured On Inaugural List of Noteworthy Asian American Leaders

The list highlights leaders of New York’s Asian American communities.

Eric Lee, Director of Public Policy at Volunteers of America-Greater New York, was recognized in City & State’s 2025 Asian Trailblazers.

Lee earned the recognition for leading policy initiatives that promotes economic justice and supports New Yorkers experiencing homelessness. Lee joined VOA-GNY last year after serving as Director of Policy and Planning at Homeless Services United.

In his role at VOA-GNY, Lee has liaised with New York State leaders to demand robust rental assistance, funding for permanent, supportive housing, and economic justice for clients and staff in the human services sector who are fighting for better wages.
