Bringing Those In-Need Into Our Care
Outreach teams engage people at JFK and LaGuardia Airports who appear homeless. Our skilled workers build a rapport with these people and assess their needs, with the goal of convincing these individuals to accept our help.

Supportive Services for Veteran Families
Volunteers of America – Greater New York seeks to ensure housing stability for veterans who are homeless and veterans at imminent risk of homelessness. Our SSVF comprises our largest veteran outreach ever as we identify and connect 300 veterans and their families with services to ensure their housing stability. In some cases, we will facilitate family reunification to bring families together under our continuum of care. Learn more about our Supportive Services for Veteran Families.
