Volunteer Opportunity: Recreation Assistance
Description: Assist childcare and recreation department in creating memorable experiences for the children we serve. Prepare fun and interactive activities on a daily basis. Participate in arts & crafts activities, attend field trips and outings, and facilitate tutoring and homework help. Must have experience working with children and be 16+. We would especially appreciate recreation volunteers for Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

Description: Provide nutrition workshop educating clients on healthy snacks and eating. Cooking, cleaning and preparing healthy food with clients. Commitment for at least 6 months, minimum 4 hours/weekdays. Must be a certified nutritionist/dietician with one year experience. Person needs to be flexible in order to accommodate residents' and program needs. Orientation and bi-weekly supervision provided.

Volunteer Opportunity: Kitchen Assistance
Description: Provide meals to our homeless residents. You’ll be involved with kitchen operations from serving meals, kitchen sanitation, receiving and storing food supplies. Learn to prepare foods to be cooked and served. Commitment for at least 3 months with 4 hour shifts available early and late day. Prior food service experience is fine or we’ll train you, no special degrees needed. Orientation and weekly supervision provided.
