Lauren D. Williams & Robert Golden Appointed to VOA-Greater New York Board of Directors


VOA-Greater New York today announced the appointment of Lauren D. Williams and Robert ‘Bob’ Golden to its Board of Directors, effective February 16, 2022. Following their appointment, the Board will comprise 19 directors.

"We are delighted to welcome two new members to our board who will deliver diverse expertise and insight to our mission,” said Myung Lee, President and CEO of VOA-Greater New York. “Lauren and Bob both bring strong management and leadership skills which will be invaluable to VOA-Greater New York as we continue to support New York’s most vulnerable through our critically important programs and, ultimately, work to end homelessness and poverty, both of which have been exacerbated in our communities by the pandemic.”

Ms. Williams currently serves as Vice President of Marketing Strategy for SiriusXM and Pandora in New York City. Mr. Golden is the Founder and CEO of TREO Brands, a plant-based hydration beverage company as well as the Founder and President of Golden Properties Group LLC. Mr. Golden's family is the legacy co-founder of the Snapple Beverage Corporation.

In 2021, VOA-Greater New York welcomed three additional board members:

  • David Nastro, Managing Director and Head of the Global Power & Utility Group at Morgan Stanley
  • Christine Zhao, Director & CFO of Edoc Acquisition Corp

Volunteers of America-Greater New York (VOA-Greater New York) is an anti-poverty organization that aims to end homelessness in the New York area by 2050 by providing housing, health and wealth-building services to our neighbors who are experiencing or are at imminent risk of homelessness.
