Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Julia Oliver joined Volunteers of America-Greater New York as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in April 2016. In this position, she is responsible for the overall fiscal stewardship of VOA-GNY and related entities as well as information technology. She oversees all aspects of the organization’s finance, including the development and management of budgets, preparation of financial statements and reporting to the VOA-GNY board.
Ms. Oliver is a licensed CPA who has over three decades of financial management experience in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. Prior to joining VOA-GNY, she held various CFO roles with American Bible Society, Golden Arc Capital, The Pension Boards, EGS Securities Corp, and WIT Capital Corporation.
Ms. Oliver holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting/Business Administration from Rutgers University and an MBA from the University of Scranton.
