Volunteer With Us

A MESSAGE ABOUT VOLUNTEERING & COVID-19

In light of the COVID-19 situation and our priority to ensure the safety of our clients, staff and volunteers, in-person volunteer activities scheduled to take place at VOA-Greater New York program sites are postponed. On behalf of our clients, we are very disappointed of course, and look forwarding to rescheduling projects just as soon as we safely can.

Volunteers of America was founded in 1896 by social reformers Maud and Ballington Booth who galvanized tens of thousands of men and women to become actively engaged in their communities. Volunteers of America-Greater New York continues to provide meaningful opportunities for the public to experience the tremendous satisfaction of serving others through volunteering

We have individual volunteer opportunities across the metropolitan area. Share your time and talents with us and help enrich the lives of men, women and children in need.
