Halloween Heroes 2019
Initiatives like Operation Backpack® and Brightening Birthdays™ exist to help normalize the lives of children in our shelters. So, what's Halloween without costumes?
Halloween Heroes Costume Drive is a new initiative of Volunteers of America-Greater New York that helps children in our family and domestic violence shelters experience the excitement of Halloween. It's a fun way to add a little sparkle, spook and spice to their fall!
How to Get Involved
- COLLECT. Hold a drive at your office, or pick up a few extra Halloween costumes while shopping with your family. You can also purchase new costumes from these Amazon and Walmart wish lists and ship them to our office (address below). The deadline to drop off costumes is Wednesday, October 16.
