Franklin Diaz
Vice President, Quality and Program Services
Mr. Diaz, Vice President of Quality and Program Services, has held positions of increasing responsibilities since he joined the organization in 2002. His responsibilities over the years have included managing approximately 35 programs in the greater New York area which serves over 40,000 clients per year. The population served includes youth in need, persons with developmental disabilities including preschoolers, persons with mental illness, the homeless, the frail elderly and those with a history of substance use. He is also responsible for the agency wide performance improvement and incident management programs.
From 1993 to 2001 Mr. Diaz served as the administrator of record of Rivington House, a 219 bed New York City residential health care facility specializing in AIDS care, where he had overall fiscal and administrative responsibility for its start-up and on-going operation. Prior to that Mr. Diaz was the senior vice president of a 200 bed community hospital offering a full range of in-patient and outpatient clinical services, including a Medicare Certified Home Health Agency and Hospice.
Mr. Diaz has an extensive background in health care, is a New York State Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, and holds a Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration from Columbia University, School of Public Health and a Master’s in Business Administration from Pace University.
Mr. Diaz is a Fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives and of the American College of Health Care Administrators.
