Early Learning Center Careers

Make a difference in the life of a child.

Volunteers of America-Greater New York runs two special education preschools—the Bronx Early Learning Center and Staten Island Early Learning Center—for children 3-5 years old, many with developmental delays. At each school, teams of dedicated and highly-skilled teachers, therapists and other related services staff provide individualized learning experiences to the children following The Creative Curriculum. A strong educational foundation, built in the least restrictive environment possible, is important for children with special needs, giving them the best possible chance to thrive and meet their full potential in kindergarten and beyond.

We are looking for New York State certified teachers and related services staff to join our interdisciplinary Early Learning Center teams.
