February Volunteer Opportunities

February is Black History Month

Celebrate the prominent African Americans who have significantly shaped our country with a trivia night and snacks at any of our residences.

Be Our Valentine!

Host a Valentine's Day party at one of our family shelters or supportive housing residences to spend some time with your neighbors in need. Your team can provide a fun afternoon complete with snacks, crafts, and, of course, lots of love!

Take a February Field Trip

February 18-22 is Midwinter Break for New York City Public Schools. Many of the children living in our shelters do not have the luxury of going away on vacation with family or seeing sights around the city without proper supervision. Help brighten their time off by hosting an afternoon of activities or sponsoring a field trip that they'll remember forever!

If any of these ideas sound appealing to you, or if you have any other suggestions, please reach out to Andrew Zibell either by email or phone at (212) 496-4307.
