To allow the public see firsthand how Volunteers of America – Greater New York is changing lives, we are offering tours at 3 of our programs: Regent Family Residence, the Bronx Early Learning Center, and the Staten Island Early Learning Center.

The Bronx Early Learning Center
(BELC) opened in 2007 and is located on Bathgate Avenue in the South Bronx. Two-thirds of the 260 children attending the Early Learning Center have developmental delays associated with autism, Down syndrome, attention deficit disorder and neurological and emotional issues, some associated with lead poisoning and fetal alcohol syndrome. |

Regent Family Residence
A transitional residence for 140 homeless families, providing comprehensive services to help them achieve independence and obtain permanent housing. |

Staten Island Early Learning Center
Many of the girls and boys who attend the Staten Island Early Learning Center have significant developmental delays associated with autism, Down syndrome, attention deficit disorder and neurological and emotional issues. |
