Bowl to Give Back 2013
On Tuesday, June 11, teams took to the lanes at Bowlmor Times Square for Bowl to Give Back 2013/
Bowl to Give Back is our annual, bowling fundraiser that supports the vital, year-round social service programs of Volunteers of America-Greater New York. It is also the kick-off for Operation Backpack, our drive to provide thousands of children in New York City's homeless and domestic violence shelters with new, filled backpacks by the start of the school year. Guests of Bowl to Give Back inaugurate the summer campaign by bringing backpacks and school supplies to donate.
Bowl to Give Back 2013, presented by York International, was a great success, raising $70,000!
Grand prizes at Bowl to Give Back 2013 included a hotel stay and dinner at the Trump International Hotel and Tower, and Yankees tickets to some of the best seas in the house, along with a baseball signed by Yankees reliever David Robertson.
For 2013 Strike-a-Prize, generous donors contributed these prizes.
