Toy Joy 2005

Thank you to all who contributed to Toy Joy, our holiday gift drive. We collected toys and books for over 5,500 disadvantaged children in the Greater New York area. The toys were donated by employees from more than 30 New York City companies including JPMorgan Chase, News America, Chadbourne & Parke LLP, Standard & Poor’s, TrizecHahn Corporation, Bernstein Investments, and the Rockefeller Group.

Federal Express picked up hundreds of boxes of toys collected by companies and delivered them to the Jacob Javits Center, where teams of employees sorted them. Thanks to Altria, Career Blazers, Marubeni-Itochu Steel, McGraw-Hill, Amalgamated Life and Diageo who led the Sort Day effort. And thanks to Altria, Marubeni-Itochu Steel, Royal Blue, and Diageo for providing breakfast and lunch each day.
