History - Donate Now

For over 100 years, the donations collected by Volunteers of America's Sidewalk Santas have helped feed those in need, including families with hardships, homebound elderly and people living with serious illnesses. Last year we distributed over 6,000 holiday food vouchers in our communities. Acting as cash, these vouchers are a normalizing and empowering method of assistance. They allow the purchasers to shop in their own neighborhoods, use the coupons to choose food that is traditional for the holiday that they celebrate, and cook and enjoy a celebratory meal of their own with family and friends.
