Guide: New York Youth Contributing
To encourage young people to contribute to their communities by volunteering their time and talent, and to help schools and other institutions facilitate such activities, Volunteers of America produced a guide, New York Youth Contributing. Thousands of nonprofits in the New York City area need volunteers and we have profiled just a handful of them here, but it is our hope that this guide will stimulate interest and encourage young people to explore the many volunteer opportunities available to them.
